Direct-To-Deck
ThermaFoam R-Control Direct-to-Deck is compatible with all major roofing materials and assemblies. Additional benefits such as design flexibility, resistance to moisture, and high R-value make ThermaFoam R-Control roof insulation the preferred roofing solution.
- Steel Deck: Minimum 22 gauge, 1/2″ deep, non-perforated, and maximum 6″ flutes.
- Thickness: Refers to ESR-1006 or UL Roof Desk Construction No. 458 for various thickness and Types.
- Accepted Membranes: Approved EPDM or thermoplastic single-ply that are Ballasted, Mechanically Attached and fully-Adhered.
- Cover Board (when requires): 1/4″ Dens-Deck or 1/2″ wood fiber board.
Flute Filler
Acts as the void filler and is designed to be installed over existing metal roofs. It provides a uniform and level substrate and is installed prior to the new roof system.

ThermaFoam R-Control roof insulation is compatible with all commercially available Polyiso roof insulations. Slope to drain fabrication, design flexibility, and one step application make ThermaFoam R-Control the preferred roofing solution for custom fabricated insulation among Contractors, Architects, and Engineers. Flat stock ThermaFoam R-Control can be used to increase R-value at an economical cost.

- Steel Deck: Minimum 22 gauge, 1/2” deep, non-perforated, and maximum 6” flutes.
- Thickness: Up to 10″ (Type I). Refer to UL Roof Deck Construction No. 458 for other thickness and Types.
- Accepted Membranes: Approved EPDM or thermoplastic single-ply that are ballasted or mechanically attached, maximum 80 mils thickness.
